Body and Face Masks

Question: I love how it feels after I put a mask on my face at home or at a spa.  I was wondering if this would work just as well for my entire body. What are the benefits of a body mask and good materials for them?

Valentina: Clay is a material often used for a body mask.  Clay is ideal for pulling impurities from the system and restoring minerals directly into the skin while gently exfoliating at the same time.  It also serves as an effective heat conductor, which makes for a soothing and muscle-relaxing treatment.  There are many different types of clay, varying in color (from green, to red, to pink, to white) intensity, purpose and origin. Cleopatra’s milk bath

Milk based skin care has been around for a long time. Milk is full of ingredients that are beneficial to the skin.

Try this one:

Add as much as 5 cups of milk/buttermilk (also, you can add jojoba oil, about a teaspoon), and then soak for about 30 minutes. Rub the skin using a washcloth or simply rinse off.
