How to Shape A Man’s Eyebrows

How to Shape a Guy’s Eyebrows

Just because you’re a rugged and tough guy, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have properly groomed eyebrows. Almost every guy could use a nip or pluck, especially when it comes to those long crazy brows—you know which ones I mean!

is typically the best option for men with very thick or overextending eyebrows (the ones that literally grow up your forehead). Waxing is quick and can remove larger areas of hair in a smaller amount of time. Waxing is also precise and lasts longer since you are removing the hair straight from the root.
When shaping a man’s eyebrows, it’s very important not to go too far into the natural growth of the brow. The goal is to clean up the natural shape of the brow and not to recreate an entirely new look. I typically start by brushing the hair to see which direction all of the hairs grow in, and to see if any hairs are growing in a separate direction. Any hairs that are longer than the rest can be neatly trimmed to follow the shape of the hair growth. Then it’s time to wax. For the most part, I only remove the hairs that are outside of the natural brow’s shape. For some men, it may be just a few along the bottom of the brow. For others, it may also involve removing hair that is covering part of the forehead.

Eyebrows should start and end in the same place, regardless of whether the client is male or female. The brows should start just above the tear duct and end at the outside corner of the eye. Any hairs that fall outside of these measurements should also be carefully removed.

After waxing, I like to go back and remove any hairs that the wax did not get. I use a good pair of tweezers to clean these hairs away.

It may seem like a simple feat, but changing the shape and thickness of your brows even slightly can do wonders for your appearance. Cleaning up your brows can make your eyes look more youthful and more awake and act as the framework for your face.

If you are thinking of waxing your brows, my strongest reputation is to go to a reputable Salon and Spa where the technicians are well versed in the professional art of eyebrow shaping. While waxing the brows may seem insignificant, a few wrong plucks could dramatically change your appearance.
